Monochrome clothing6/13/2023 ![]() ![]() My personal favorites are Raf Simons velcro highs, or some Rick Owens Geobaskets, the crusts are pretty cool, whatever you like really its pretty much up to you. You will also want some long sleeved shirts, same colors as above, and several button down shirts, black and white are my recommendations.ģ) Outerwear: Black leather jacket, Black Bomber (or white), Black ParkaĤ) Shoes: Plain white low tops (preferably common projects, the price is high but they really compliment fits) and from there you want black hightops and white hightops. If you want you can get some with designs on them as long as they aren't gaudy and are monochrome. If I was to make a list of what I think were basics for monochrome/minimalist style it would look a little something like this (keep in mind this is my preference and were I do like some looser fitting pants I haven't figured out how to work them into a fit)ġ) Pants: Black Jeans, and other black trousers (such as iloveugly sweats ect)Ģ) Shirts: T-shirts in white, grey and black. Just realized how small this shit is, some of it isn't clothing but this is specific items I like ![]() But I do know what I like I have been working on a kind of inspiration infograph? I'm not sure what to call it, I will attach it and another one which is simpler, I can't say that I am super experienced, as I've only been interested in it for a few months. I'd greatly appreciate any recommendations or advice you can share! Any recommendations? I was drifting towards Uniqlo Supima tees - but I wouldn't mind something made out of even heavier material with a better fit. Q3) With tees I'd like something made out of thick fabric - not the typical sheer material usually associated with this aesthetic. I'd like to ideally spend less than $100 on the trousers (the less the better, saving up for travelling at the moment!) - and I certainly do understand that it may not be possible to achieve what I'm looking for with such a meager budget - hopefully you can prove me wrong! Don't really mind if it does or doesn't have pleats. Basically something roomy at the top, with a taper. Q2) In terms of pants, I really like Yohji's linen pants (pictured below). Q1) I'd love to hear some tips on getting started from people who have experience with this aesthetic. I've just started to explore monochrome clothing and I was thinking of wearing a white/black tee + cropped linen trousers + white sneaker mix for the upcoming Australian spring/summer.
